EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini on Tuesday urged Israel Premier Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas to meet Quartet representatives “within days” in the hope of kick-starting stalled peace talks.

20 October 2015. Dublin. Europe’s ocean energy industry will meet with key political leaders at a high level summit in Dublin today to present a game plan for commercialising the ocean energy sector. The summit marks the start of the two day Ocean Energy Europe Conference & Exhibition. The event takes place at a pivotal juncture for Europe’s ocean energy industry, as it prepares for take-off deployments in 2016.

This week we had the great pleasure of speaking to Damian Power, Director Dublin Flamenco Festival. The Dublin Flamenco Festival, with its stunning flamenco dancers and musicians, will take to Dublin’s stages and streets from October 10th to the 25th.
This week we spoke to Izabella Cooper, Spokesperson with Frontex the agency of the European Union (EU) that manages the cooperation between national border guards that is undertaken to secure the external borders of the union, including from illegal immigration, human trafficking and terrorist infiltration. The agency was established in 2004 and has its seat in Warsaw, Poland.
We also spoke to ex European Volunteer Service volunteer, Sheila Quigley about her experience with this wonderful European initiative (EVS) when we caught up with her at the recent “Time To Move” event organised by Eurodesk.
